Kaitlyn Andrews-Rice is a writer and editor whose work has appeared in Copper Nickel, Indiana Review, Wigleaf, and others. She is the 2025 Winner of the Forge Flash Fiction Competition for her story “Five Easy Payments of Nothing Ever Changes.”
The former Editor-in-Chief of Split Lip Magazine and FOLIO, she received an MFA in Creative Writing from American University,her B.A. in English from The Schreyer Honors College at Penn State University, and a certificate in Screenwriting from UCLA’s Professional Program in Screenwriting,
