Kaitlyn Andrews-Rice is a writer and editor whose work has appeared in Copper Nickel, Indiana Review, Wigleaf, and others. She is the 2025 Winner of the Forge Flash Fiction Competition for her story “Five Easy Payments of Nothing Ever Changes.”
The former Editor-in-Chief of Split Lip Magazine, she holds an MFA in Creative Writing from American University, where she also served as Editor-in-Chief of FOLIO. She received a Certificate in Screenwriting from UCLA’s Professional Program in Screenwriting, and a B.A. in English from The Schreyer Honors College at Penn State University.
